FWIW, at one time Rosemont had replacement cowlings for this. Not
sure if they're still in production, though.

Okay, I'm going to bite on this one. I too have one each of the
German and the Oeffag offering. I remember reading Windsock when
Rimmel went through correcting it, and it didn't sound all *that*
bad. Sure, it's not upto today standards, but can't you make a
decent model of this one?
