As it seems to be public confession time now, I will tell of the models
on my 'in progress - to be completed' shelf. These are, in no particular
order:

Hobbycraft 1/48 Spitfire Mk.XIV
Hasegawa 1/48 F-16C
Sierra Scale Models 1/48 Hansa-Brandemburg D.I vacuform
Czech Resin 1/72 Hansa-Brandenburg W.29
Hasegawa 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109F-2
Mauve 1/48 Curtiss P-40N
Trimaster 1/48 Messerschmitt Me163B-1a
Lindberg 1/48 Curtiss P-6E
Airfix 1/72 Bristol Blenheim conversion to Mk.1 w/ aeroclub parts
Tamiya 1/48 Nakajima Ki-84-IA Hayate (Frank)
Classic Planes 1/72 Fokker D.VIII vacuform
Aurora 1/48 Boeing F4B-4
Eduard 1/48 Fokker E.III
Czech Resin 1/48 North American P-51H
MPM 1/48 Polikarpov I-152 vacuform
Monogram 1/48 North American P-61 conversion to F-15 Reporter w/ Medalion
resin parts.

My three most recently completed kits are;

Aurora 1/48 Fokker Triplane - straight out of the box plus rigging.
This plane was built for the expressed purpose of attempting to cure
a severe case of Advanced Modelers Syndrome. It seem to have helped.

Hasegawa 1/72 Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 This plane won our local club,
IPMS Vancouver, B.C. Canada 'any 1/72 Bf.109 kit' contest. It won me a
trophy and 'Big Mouth' rights and the obligation to choose the next the
next Big Mouth Contest subject. I chose 'any 1/72 helicopter'.

Matchbox 1/72 Armstrong Whitworth Siskin. This plane took 2nd in three
contests in the area (biplane class). There is a builder in Vancouver who
is hard to beat, Andy Banister makes the Best WW-1 biplanes I have ever
seen. He models mostly in 1/72 and they are little jewels.

In the last 10 years I have completed over 60 models, many class winners,
most of which are on display at the Eagles, Models and Games store in
Bellingham, Washington State. 12 of which are WW-1 subjects.

Currently I have taken a personal vow to not purchase or begin any more
models until 4 or maybe more of the above started ones are completed. It
could happen.

I have close to 170 un-built un-started models waiting for the cut of the
modeling knife. This is after the "it's all 4 sale", when I let go
of 348 models.

I have a further 48 model that are "The Collection". These are not
earmarked for building, selling or trading. Mostly first edition
Aurora biplanes and the like.

Ok, I've gotten this off my chest. I feel much better now. Who else will
spill the beans.

Over 'n Out,
Mike
