The Zero was done for the annual Washington DC chapter IPMS
"Build the same kit" contest.
Early spring we decide on a kit, then they are sold at cost at
a following meeting, then Oct or Nov mtg, they are all brought in.
Every other year its an airplane kit, the opposing year we select
a car or tank (last year it was the Monogram 1985 Ford Mustang).
A lot of fun - sometime the guys who are hardcore will camoflage
a stock car, other guys will put airline schemes on an F-16.
And as convoluted as my building pile is, I do get progress!
And most of my Pegasus WWI stuff is on my "Open me next" pile,
so don't give me any grief! This list is great for getting my
WWI stuff advanced in the rankings, but I have to completely
chew what's on my plate now, and save dessert for later.
