That's OK, just as long as it doesn't have a jet engine 8^)
There seems to be a hiearchy of socially accpeted modeling subjects at my
local IPMS club.
For example, if someone admitted to building a 1/144 jet airliner model
they would be laughed out of the meeting hall. Other bottom feeder
activities would include modeling:
NASCAR autos (surprising given that this is North Carolina)
Helicopters
Mecha Robots
On the other hand, Top of the Styrene Chain subjects include
Anything with a propellor in 1/48th scale especially if it has a
swastika on the tail
All military jets in 1/48th scale
Any car from the 50's
Tanks are considered borderline and folks do wonder if you are venting
those fumes properly.
