All I have for references are a few photos in the Harleyford Marine
Planes book. There is a picture of one WD 7 with serial number 647 in black
letters on the fuselage. It appears to be in overall light gray with
varnished wood floats. The rudders are white with iron crosses. The fuel
tanks are a dark color - green? gray? Dunno.

I am guessing there are iron crosses in white fields on the upper & lower
wings based on a photo taken from above and behind of a WD 7 in the back of
the book.

The instructions say that in 1917 these aircraft appeared in the naval
hex scheme, but there are no photos in the Harleyford book to support this.

By the way, the o-rings I mentioned are rubber and can be easily cut and
positioned.
