In addition to Al's sage advice on vacs- I would like to add the folowing-
Vac material is obviously thinner than injected plastic. In one sense this
is good as is is more in scale. The danger, however is that you can weaken
the plastic very easily with too much liquid cement causing sags in the
detail. I have found it helpful, also, to make bulkheads in certain cases
to strengthen the fuselage. The other trick is to take small pieces of
plastic and to glue them along the inside edge of the fuselage to form a
ridge which can be mated with the other side. Another caveat is to avoid
oversanding in the drive to get thinner trailing edges in the wings. Al is
right- get yourelf a cheap vac and go for it- Wieder-
