I prefer stretched sprue, especially from "metallic" color plastic
[no stones, that kit is not part of my collection, it was given as
a gift to a friend who likes P-38s].
The price is right, and it's easier to cut than wire. I use white
glue (Elmers) and attach to the strut hole.
