One last observation on this topic:
I tend to be a fairly versatile modeler. In addition to being a WWI aircraft
fan, I am also a fan of obscure small airforce aircraft of WWII, and of post
war-to-present day Soviet aircraft. I hear EXACTLY the same complaints from
my friends in these groups, too. And guess what? We're ALL right. I think one
reason for this is we tend to concentrate on what we don't have in our
collections. We already built all the good stuff.
This leaves one question: what do those guys who build nothing but F-15's
complain about?:)
