Hello All,
I would like to propose a toast to the Gentleman whose kit
collection we all enjoyed a piece of these latest months. I give you
Mr. Frank Petch, late of Bellingham, Wa. USA. An interesting and
interested person. Auditor for the State. Beloved husband of Zelda
Petch, a lifelong, practicing and administrating Regestered Nurse,
Graduate of British Columbia. She did her Nursing Training at the
Royal Naval Hospital during WW-II. Frank her hsband was an Apprentace
Aircraft Assemblyman as a teenager and built Canso flyingboats.
Franks collection of models and books and everything else was
comissioned by Zelda to me to distribute. And realise some cash value.
These models and books that the wwi server club members have acquired
from me are the last of a larger picture. The huge bulk of the items
were sold via classified adds in FSM, the real cream went locally first.
The energy I spent selling that collection paid off by allowing
me to buy a computer on time. You know the rest.
So here's to Frank Petch, a man whose presence here has enriched
all our lives.

Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year . . . . . .

Later, Mike
