Thanks for the welcome. It's good to hear from fellow enthusiasts,
especially for me a fallow enthusiast. The money I got for my books,
though it paid for the printing and a number of models, was not my
primary goal; it was meeting all of the other WWI kit crazies and sharing

It's true what you say about this being a new Golden Age (though I think
for me the true Golden Age of WWI modeling was age 12). When I wrote my
book, my goal was to have an example of every WWI model kit in every
major packaging variation, and for a while in the seventies, I almost
did. Now . . .! I 'm, literally, about three thousand dollars behind!
So, now I'm practically going: "Slow down you guys! I don't even know
what a FLOH is!" What a weird situation. That's what I get for being a
lamp . . .
