The Argentine squadron of listees turned out in full force to welcome Karen to Buenos Aires on 5 January 2008. A wonderful meal was prepared and devoured at Martín Eschagüe's apartment, followed by all sorts of modeling nonsense which made complete chaos of the dinner table. Finished models, models in pieces, spare parts, Windsocks, arcane tools, Coca-Cola, decals, Martin's antique family sword, a Polish map, kits without instructions, instructions without kits, and much, much more made brief or extended appearances. Such a good time was had by all that an encore listmeet was held at the best pizzeria in Buenos Aires when Karen returned to the city two weeks later after experiencing Antarctica.
