Lance Krieg took these photos in Sept 2003 at the USAF Museum, Dayton.
Lance adds:
Cylinder covers are painted with gloss black enamel. Pink rubber plug wires run through a red-brown rubber wire chase from a black distributor. Induction unit is natural steel, as are the carburetors. Water hoses are black, with black rubber gaskets providing the connections. Manufacturer’s plate and engine information plates are brass.
