Allan Wright Models
These images are of an Albatros D-I that I completed in February of 1995.
The model was made by kitbashing a Revell Albatros D-III kit by adding scratch
built wings, wing struts, Windorf radiators, radiator overflow tank, and
modifying the tail position and fuselage shape. Woodgrain effects on
the fuselage panels were done with colored pencils. The yellow ball on
the silver wire is a map pin. I mount them in all the models I build
so that I can use them for wargaming.
These images were created with an Indycam and are a tad bit fuzzy in
places due to the Indycam's short field of depth. Click on
any thumbnail for a larger JPEG image. All the Jpegs are under 50K.
