Hannover CL.IIIa

Kit: Airfix (1:72)

The Airfix Hannover, done as the captured Cl.IIIa of (maybe) Schlasta 24 b show in the datafile, is one I started in 1974 and found in a box in pieces in 1998. The hand painted lozenge was too large and garish, but okay I think on the fuselage with overspray. The rest I removed with acetone and replaced with Pegasus 4 colour. Other markings are from the spares box. Rigging is monofilament.

Hannover CL.IIIa and CL.II

Kit: Koster (1:48)

The Eduard and Koster Aero Enterprise Hannovers were built together, and some spare bits from the Koster used on the Eduard. The Eduard is a CL.IIIa and the Koster is a CL.II. The vac was far easier than the early Eduard. The hand-painted fuselage lozenge virtually vanished under the Prussian blue overspray. Rigging is steel wire.

Hannover CL.II

Kit: Koster (1:48)

Koster Hannover. My last attempt to photograph this model. For some reason I just can't get a good shot of it (not that the others are much better).
