Kit: Eduard (1:48)
The 'Profipack' version of Eduard's F1 Camel, with a Vector resin Clerget replacing the kits engine and some 1/72nd PE lacing around the cockpit coaming. I marked the aluminium painted cowling with dots from a silver marker pen to try to get an 'engine turned' effect. Not great, but it sort of gives that impression. White Ensign Model's Terre D'Ombre Nat. (Raw Earth) for PC10. Kit decals.
Eduard's 'profipack' kit built straight from the box, until lt crashed while I was rigging it. So I replaced the tail-booms with brass tube which is what I should have done in the first place. I replaced the kit roundels with after-market ones as they were a little bit too bright for my taste.
Eduard Nieuport 16. Built out the box with a couple of scratched items, British syle instument board, windscreen, gun-mounting and pitot. A Vector resin Le Rhone, and Bob's buckles on the rigging. I copied, as far as I could, Ronny Bar's colour scheme on his Nieuport profiles (based on Alan Tolle's research) to make it a little more colourful.
Kit: Roden (1:48)
Roden Nieuport 28 in the markings of William Henry (Big Bill) Taylor of the 95th Aero squadron. Decals by Superscale. Misterkit paints.
Kit: Aeroclub (1:48)
Aeroclub's RE8 finished as B2276 of 15 squadron RFC. Scratch built wooden u/c, airscoop and exausts plus lots of opportunity to add PE pieces - gun-sights, scarff ring etc. A very enjoyable build.
Kit: Blue Max (1:48)
Apologies for the ot markings! Blue Max Snipe decked out with Model Alliance 'Silver Wings' decals
Eduard 'Profipack' with Aeromaster decals. White Ensign Models Ombre Calcinee (Dark Earth) for the paintwork as PC12 is traditional for tripes.
