The Santos-Dumont 14 bis is scratchbuilt, no scale specified. Model made as a decorative lamp, using classic stick-on-tissue methods. The scale was dictated by the available space in the living room. So far the model has resisted the lamp heat without burning into flames, which is a tribute to the design by the Brazilian airman.
