Kit: Aurora (1:48)
This is the old Aurora kit of the De Havilland DH10A. A simple OOB build with Aeroclub Lewis Guns and CSM props (seemed a shame to have to paint 'em). The out of focus ambulance is a Corgi model of a 1919 Crossley.
Kit: Blue Max (1:48)
This is my modest attempt at the Blue Max DH 2 with woodcarved prop from CSM and Eduard Instruments. It represents a craft in 24 Squadron markings. The wings on these aircraft were interechangeable top and bottom, so I have put a replacement wing on the bottom starboard wing. You can see the different colour PC10 and the outline of the roundel from the top wing of the canibalised aircraft.
