Day 15, Friday

Finally, I could build the front part and advance with the cannons' shield. The problem was that if a slight deviation occured in the construction of both of them the tubes would remained not centered. instead of parallel. I sandpapered once more the tubes. Salud !!!

Day 16, Saturday

During breakfast I present the parts in order to see what's missing. Today at my club I could find with the Daily Mirror collection that I needed. I found information, the pictures aren't very good but at least I've got some pictures.

I must think what to do to finish now the turret and start with the aeroplane.

Day 17: Sunday

Today is mothers' Day in our country. I rest,I need it a lot.

Day 18; Monday

I gave the last hand of sealer. I started to make the interiors The port holes start to have shape. Tic Tac, Tic Tac. Time runs. Shall I finish on time?

Day 19, Tuesday

I'm ensambling the base of the turret, also the Beams and the ribbons.A lot of riveting !!!!! I give you my drlling method tidily: With an electric screwdriver low power 130 Rpm.. It is more tidy than the Dremel and doesn't melt the plastic..

Day 20: Wednesday

Today I worked ensembling the cannon tubes; the base is 4mm longer. I had to dismount everything and shorten it!!!!!GRRRRRR!!!!!! I polished the officers' cabin floor, I settled and placed the roof. Time is short...

Day 21: Thursday

Today was the details' day. First I prepared the boaserie for the officers' cabin,I worked with an interesting technique,so I think. I used pieces of walnut root 0.3mm thick, you inmerse them in hot water that softens the material, then you cut it and apply to the walls. That I assume can be used in an aeroplane fuselage??? I applied 80ribetings on the kit,and...

Ribeting, ribeting ribeting, hundred of them!!!! Mon dieu tonight I?ll dream with them.
