Day 1 (Friday)

The round trip around a kit or how to build an aeroplane for competition in 36 days and not getting crazy at the attempt.

Drawings,drawings, drawings
I've asked my friend Mauricio to get me some drawings of an english battle cruise of the invencible class.

I choose my reference books:
The Janes,
The Marine Aircraft of the 1914-1918 war by Harleyford publications ltd.,
British aeroplanes 1914-18 by J.M.Bruce
La Marina,Historia y Tecnologia ed.Delta.
Profile Publication The Sopwith Pup Nº 13
Colours and Markings of the First World War Bob Pearson
Ah! I'll ask my club for the newspapes of that period.!

Day 2, Saturday

've asked in my club a part of the collection of the English newspapers of the period.I took the Daily sketch and asked for the Daily Mirror when it gets back to our library. I asked for a turner operator, I received more than 10 drawings about the heavy cruise class.

We're doing well.

Day 3, Sunday

Today I'll rest I don't want to get tired soon. I'll only call Diego Fernetti,in case he has a good drawing of Sopwith Pup to send me. I have ones of Air Progress from March 1964;but I see some unaccuracies.

Day 4

We start,in the morning I bought a lot of plasticard. I start drawing on them. for the boat structure I use plastic of 2mm. That will give strength to the structure. I called one of the turner operator,he's very busy;he can't make the aluminium part for me.

Day 5, tuesday

The 2mm plastic is hard to cut,and when doing it,it remains with irregular ends.I'm using a lot the "Shaper table" from Dremel. to make the work quickly and easier.

A problem: How to cut big circle, with the compass you obtain nice circles but difficult to cut.
Ah!! the solution : A nail a stick, and the tip of the compass and a lot of patience. Sawing is easier.with a hole maker and a lot of care it remains well I called two friends of mine Lucas and Juan to see if they could get turner operators, mined have failed. Lucas may be but he's not sure.

Day 6, Wednesday

I go to the carpenter;my friend Roberto. He'll cut in his endless saw the tubes of 6 inches and 2 inches to build the racking and the amunition lift. He'll also give two pieces of hard wood from the Chaqueñoods in case I don't find the turner who makes the cannon tubes.

Day 7

The modelistic lunch takes place as every thursday. Lucas reminds me that the jury will need pictures of my scratch process. He asks me an individual drawing of the cannon tube,it may be that a friend of a friend of a friend...would do it. I show him until where I've got.
