Sopwith 2F.1 Camel, 1:72 scale
This is one of the first models I built since I restarted modelling some years ago. It's the crude camel from Academy and it isn't accurate at all, but I used it as a test bed for some techniques I wanted to try before commiting any mistake on newer, more involved models. I replaced the solid engine and cowl with a CSM cast metal engine and PE pushrods. The paint scheme is just plain green paint (no attempt to match up a precise PC10 shade) and the white triangle is just a fantasy scheme, not related to any actual aircraft.
